My history is not staying in history... is there something
i need to do, that when I exit, and come back into TC,
that the history stays glued from the last session??
Thanks! Fred

Not saved...

Hello !
- As far as I know, the historical list isn't saved currently when you close TC, that is so annoying, I agree.
- Except I mistake, this has been required several times, please look at the Search, while I go to see more info …
EDIT : I didn't see this in the future new known features for the next version in the thread :
"List of new features in next TC version"
- Indeed, you could use the dirs.-menu, but isn't satisfactory during a short work-time, while you are bound to close TC, and need to find out the same dirs. than in the previous session…
Kind regards,
Claude

Re: Not saved...
That, if missing, is one thing that could be added!.... it just seems
like this product would not have missed a feature like that!
I hope someone knows differently!
Thanks, Fred

A poor workaround...

• Trying to console you, a partial solution (perhaps...) :
- Whether you use the folder-tabs, you can save the last tabs layout in a file from the command in the contextual (right-click) menu on a tab.
- At the next session, you can reset the same tab-layout by loading that layout from the file, via a command in the contextual menu too… You may save several layouts in n... files, no problem.
- If you don't use the tabs at all (like me), I can just send you some handkerchieves… (colour, please ?)
- It's worth to look for a plugin able to read the historical record of the list content in the memory-cache, and to save it in a real text-file
Kind regards,

Re: A poor workaround...
poiple pweeze......... thatthz my K-K-K-Kolor!!
I'm not smart enough to remember to save before I exit,
I just start packing in a pile of windows at once, and I often
also exit TC at the same time, and THEN remember that I
was doing something, and wish I could get back to it. So
it would be MUCH better to be totally automatic, that there
just be a rolling history of x records, and periodically
and/or when you exit, it saves the current history. That's
about the only way it would work properly for me...
