installer hangs

I downloaded installer form 32/64bit of TC 10b1a.
I have chosen to update current installation on dedicated folder c:\tools\totalcmd no junction, no hardlink.
When i click to proceed, the installer hang and nothing happened.
I have windows 10 64bit 20H2.

Where exactly does it hang? What was the last thing shown by the installer?

No TC instance running.
A) You lauch the installer
B) choose update current install and click next.
C) Nothing happend, if you click on blue installer window, title show "not responding"....
And the installer seems blocked !

If TC is running it is the same with intermediate dialog that close current instance. and then nothing forever...

Could you try the 64-bit only installer instead? It is a 64-bit program, while the combined one is a 32-bit program.

Same issue here when upgrading from 9.51 to 10b2. The installer consumes 100% of a CPU core, and the "Would you like to protect..." dialog never appears. Please see the stack trace here: Image: https://i.postimg.cc/SsRB89nW/a.png

I am a registered user. I have to tried installing both new beta 10 (1 and 2) but the installer freezes and does not do anything. TC dos not give any error.

Comparing with installation on other computer. Installer stop just before showing dialog to change ownership on TC folder.
32+64 or 64 bit istaller does the same.
I even stoped antivirus same behavior.
