Is it possible to have a feature to play audio files direct in TC?
I would like to use TC as a Sample Manager? (play kickdrum, snares, etc as wave, aiff files)
(The play feature similar to what Ableton Live or Native Instruments Battery has in the browsers)
This could open up an opportunity, that the producers could use TC for that?
I notice there are no good Sample Manager program, which have a two window set up, to play the file and when liking move into the other folder in the 2nd window?
I am not sure if thats possible with addons or native in TC or to implement it.
the Lister way is way to slow, when you sorting a lot of samples/audio files.
EDIT: Not sure if that feature exists already, So please move the topic to Sugesstions if that was the wrong place to post.
Thanks in advance

You can use Ctrl+Q (Quick View). In this case you can navigate files in one panel and have lister playing in another panel.

thats not working i need the 2nd panel to copy files i like to another folder.
Re: Play Audio Files direct in TC?
You CAN copy. Directory open in the other panel stay unchanged, quick view is like an overlay. I use this feature every week. If you need more target directories, open more tabs in the second panel and switch to needed one, then go back to tab with quick view.

You can also use Ctrl+Shift+Q. It works like Ctrl+Q that it shows/plays the file under the cursor, but it opens in a separate window like F3.

The ctrl+shift+Q works quite good, is it possible to have the lister preview somewhere direct in TC?
like i have my panes and its docked somewhere over the adress bar? Because this would be the best solution?
But i guess this requires some extra coding.

You can move the window where you want it and choose "Save position" in the options menu. It will be saved separarely from the location of F3.
