If I have a directory full of other directories or archives, when I drag a file over from the other panel to copy, there is almost no place to drop it such that it lands onto the current folder instead of one of the sub-items. No matter whether the view is Brief, Full or Tree, the drop target row has the full width of the panel. There is only a narrow blank row below all the items.
Is it possible to drop a file, or hold a modifier key, to copy without scrolling to the end of the list to access this narrow drop zone?

Re: Drag and drop copy over directories
You can drag it to the Current directory bar just over the Tabstop headers (assuming that you have enabled "Show current directory" in the Layout configuration).

Re: Drag and drop copy over directories
j7n,
Or drop it onto the scroll bar.
Or drop it onto the scroll bar.
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Re: Drag and drop copy over directories
Thank you. I like the scrollbar as target. It is always visible with lists too long for one screen height. Seems obvious now, but I didn't think to use it.
