I use search Alt + F7 or in Background Alt+Shift+F7
Both std hotkey are trapped under [F7] new Folder.

Not confirmed, both work fine here in both TC 32-bit and 64-bit beta 8 on Windows 10.

Do you have any hotkeys defined in Configuration - Options - Misc?

Have you cleaned your keyboard? Does Alt key work in other combinations?

In fact this was due to a new software trapping Alt key on windows with my name...
Sorry for false bug.
