TC shows confirmation dialog when deleting although it must not

Post by *Sektor »

When I delete a folder or file, confirmation dialog does appear, but in settings I disabled it.

That dialog is a Windows dialog - you have to disable it in the settings for the Recycle Bin. You can do that by either right clicking on TC's F8 button in the bottom of TC's window, or by right clicking on the Recycle Bin icon (if present) on your Desktop - and then disable the option for confirmation.

If you then still get a confirmation dialog - now a TC dialog - then you have to change (or add) the parameter VistaDelete=-1 to VistaDelete=1 in the [Configuration] section of your wincmd.ini file.

Oops! Completely forgot about this checkbox in the Recycle Bin settings! Now all works OK!
