Information about purchase and future update to version 10.xx
Hey there, I already wrote to support at ghisler . com, but I think my mail might've ended up in spam, it's too "pretty" :/
Well, anway,
I'd like to support TC and want to buy TC, finally now I have s.r.o. [GmbH], so, when I will want upgrade to version 10, will I be payin' full price?
Thank You,
that'll be all
With best regards

You pay full price when you buy your licence, and that license will be valid for ALL future upgrades of Total Commander.

Re: Information about purchase and future update to version 10.xx
Unfortunately I did not receive any e-mail from your domain (uplink), it was probably removed by the spam filter. I get a lot of spam every day (100-200 mails), so it may have been deleted. I'm using a half-manual filtering method via MailWasher, so I usually catch false positives if they have a reasonable title. Mails containing Total Commander or TotalCommander in the subject or body are white listed automatically.

Re: Information about purchase and future update to version 10.xx
I know that I'd get all the 9.xx version updates in the price, that's not a problem. But 10 is "behind" the door and my question is, whether I'll get some better price for an upgrade to a major version [from current 9.xx which is closing it's life cycle to 10.x]. It's no big deal, just wondering, petermad wrote: 2021-05-20, 20:08 UTC You pay full price when you buy your licence, and that license will be valid for ALL future upgrades of Total Commander.

That's okay buddy, I figured. Am gonna purcahse TC anyway, it's 37e, even if I had to pay full price for the version 10.xxghisler(Author) wrote: 2021-05-21, 08:37 UTC Unfortunately I did not receive any e-mail from your domain (uplink), it was probably removed by the spam filter. P.S.: In case You've thought and/or made a cloud version in the future [for settings, mailny settings, plugins, etc.] I'm willing to hook up for up to 5e w/o VAT /month, just sayin'.
Re: Information about purchase and future update to version 10.xx
The license is not bound to any specific version. If you have a valid license, it works with all TC versions, including the future ones.uplink wrote: 2021-05-21, 13:25 UTC I know that I'd get all the 9.xx version updates in the price, that's not a problem. We understand that many software vendors give you free upgrades within the major version you bought. It's not like that with TC. If you buy some OTHER software version 2.3 you are usually entitled to 2.4, 2.51, etc, but not 3.0 or higher. With TC, if you bought version 6.x you would still be allowed to upgrade to TC 10 that is coming out soon. Is it clear now?

Incredible! Although, I do plan to support Mr. Ghisler a bit more than once, but I really do love his policy!petermad wrote: 2021-05-21, 14:59 UTC 2uplink

Wow, that's early, Peter.
I didn't join the club until about a decade later, in 2005, so licence number around 120k.
