-1:Like 0, but do not save state when closing TC (filter always disabled at startup)
2: Like 1, but do not save state either (filter always on when starting TC)
QuickSearchAutoFilter=0 0: Automatic quick search filter (Ctrl+S) disabled
1: Automatic quick search filter (Ctrl+S) enabled
-1:Like 0, but do not save state when closing TC (filter always disabled at startup)

Re: TC10: How does the "QuickSearchAutoFilter=1" option work?
But it does not work. Do not remember the filters.
Re: TC10: How does the "QuickSearchAutoFilter=1" option work?
It remembers the state and not the filters you may entering.
So if its enabled you can just type to filter
So if its enabled you can just type to filter

The QuickSearchAutoFilter only has effect if you in the Quick Search configuration have chosen either "Ctrl+Alt+Letters", "Alt+Letters" or "Letters - with search dialog".
The QuickSearchAutoFilter determines what happens if you have chosen one of those three methods.
QuickSearchAutoFilter=0 means that the cursor alway jumps from file to file as you type, but NO filtering down of the listed files takes place .
QuickSearchAutoFilter=1 means that the listed files gets filtered down as you type.
If you press Ctrl+S while the search dialog is open, then the behaviour will toggle between these two modes, and that mode will be remembered after restart of TC.
QuickSearchAutoFilter=-1 will do the same as setting 0, and if you have changed the behaviour with Ctrl+S then the last used behaviour will not be used after restart of TC, but will always start in jump mode.
QuickSearchAutoFilter=2 will do the same as setting 1, and if you have changed the behaviour with Ctrl+S then the last used behaviour will not be used after restart of TC, but will always start in filter mode.
If the search dialog is not open, then Ctrl+S will always start in filter mode.
