First and most obvious thing you can do for tracking issue is making capture of the screen while you get the beep and display it on full screen and notice whether you get beep too or not.
This should clear up whether TC is responsible for buzzing in any way or this is matter of screen content only.
Use various program for display screen capture e.g. Irfan View, XnView, XnViewMP.
P.S. Use lossless format for screen capture, e.g. save both as BMP and PNG - not JPEG!
Configure Irfan/XnView to NOT display file name.

It's about 12 years old - enough to start dying. It's definitely a hardware problem so you should better go to some hardware forum.MariusP wrote: 2021-09-19, 09:42 UTCIt's not *that* old - it's an LCD from some years ago, a Samsung SyncMaster P2370.Usher wrote: 2021-04-19, 20:44 UTC Relatively or very old? Making similar noise is normal for dying CRT monitors. Sometimes lowering refresh rate helped in such cases.
It's a hardware problem, in the past there was even some malware which could damage a monitor flashing with white screen.
Without repairing I can only recommend to lower brightness. And I think it's better to buy some 5-6 year old monitor than to fix this one, if you don't have friends which can do it for you.

Done. And yeah, it's reproducible also in the screenshot, so definitely not something to do with TC exclusively, thread can be closed.Gral wrote: 2021-09-19, 12:52 UTC First and most obvious thing you can do for tracking issue is making capture of the screen while you get the beep and display it on full screen and notice whether you get beep too or not.
