Hey there!
Any idea why I always have to copy files to root of one of my drives, or some folder that's NOT Desktop, in order to successfully copy them?

Please advise.
With kind regards

Unable to copy to FTP from Desktop, why?

uplink,
Because the "Desktop" you are trying to copy to is not a real folder, but a combination of your desktop folder (C:\Users\<Username>\Desktop\) and the desktop folder of all users (C:\Users\Public\Desktop\). TC does not know which one of the real folders you want to copy to, so it refuses to copy "nowhere". Use one of the real folders and the copying will work.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
