Path variables

Post by *7995 »

I need to create a shortcut inside TC at start menu. I know some variables like %commanderpath% and windows' like %documents%, %appdata%, etc.
I have a portable folder of TC on my flashdrive in the root. Like pendrive:\\tc. I also have a folder of an app in the root like pendrive:\\app.

How can i setup this path using variables? In some other apps i can use dot and double dot to use up level folder and the root. In some app it would be like
.\%commanderpath%\app
..\app

Any solutions?

Use %COMMANDER_DRIVE% as base for your pathes.
Works of yourse only after TC is started.
Relative pathes are also supported.

For a portable environment use a tool like PStart.

Or any other from a long list:

Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4061)
TC 11.55 RC2 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1391a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.5.2.0, Listary Pro 6.3.2.88
QAP 11.6.4.4 x64

Thanks. I use PortableApps and the folder in the root of the pendrive as the folder of TC.
