Help locating INI setting

Post by *wanderer »

I remember there is a setting that manages whether TC will calculate size/number of all files to be copied before starting the copy process. Can anyone pls remind me that setting?

IIRC, the same setting also works for deletion, right?

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Ah, never mind. It's CountMarked. I discovered there is a setting in Options Window (didn't remember at all it was there).

It can indeed be found under menu option Configuration/Options, section Operation. And you can abort the calculation in individual cases by pressing the Esc key.
