According to the Help Total Commander uses the free Delphi library TRegExpr by Andrey V. Sorokin, which is now available at https://regex.sorokin.engineer.

Thanks petermad, i've been searching but i wasn't able to find an online tester compatible
with TRegExpr. Does anyone know an online or offline RegEx tester compatible with TRegExpr
or at least the name of the most similar flavour to TRegExpr supported by regex101 or similar ?,
thank you :!: :!:

What about using the Multi-Rename Tool for testing RegEx?

Try out the good old PCRE (Perl) syntax

Search this forum for "[x]RegEx" to find some examples...
Or google for>>> "[x]RegEx" site:ghisler.ch
