Using cm_SrcUserSpec=313 in menu produces strange effect

Using cm_SrcUserSpec in a menu line like this
MENUITEM "Last selected", 313
produces an unwanted effect.
It doesn't show the configured text in the menu, instead it shows the real last selection.
If this was a very long line the whole menu right border is shifted to the far right depending on the length of the string.
For me the menu text should never be replaced by any content.

Yes, but now I had a very long selection and the menu border was on the right end of my large screen.
I don't see it logical to change the menu text with the selection.
The active selection can always be seen on the top.

It is nice to be able to see the filter that will be used before you click on it.

But it could be a good idea to truncate filters longer than 40 or 50 characters in the menu

Truncation would help.
