"18.06.21 Fixed: Internal media player: detect whether a video needs to be rotated because it was filmed in portrait mode, or upside down - uses vmr9rotator.dll (32/64)":
Great! However, lister Background Color is not respected when playing *rotated* videos. On my system the bg is always white.

Re: TC10.50b1: Rotating videos -- wrong bg color
Confirmed: fixed in TC 10.50b2 (with my test setup)
[However, wouldn't it be more intuitive to use the configured lister bg color instead of black? Maybe a second video-bg-color could be introduced...?]

Re: TC10.50b1: Rotating videos -- wrong bg color
All media players use black bars around videos. The background color is mainly meant for the text mode. I don't think that people will enjoy e.g. light gray video borders in normal mode.

Re: TC10.50b1: Rotating videos -- wrong bg color
True on the one hand -- commonly black is visually more convenient.
On the other hand users might consider it strange that TC simply ignores the configured bg color.
And: In some cases white bg is helpful (e.g., when projecting to a white wall).
Thus, I have suggested a separate video-bg-color.
