Well, then the user made a choice. The same if other elements are disabled - you might loose some functionality.

petermad,
If the user does not want to see the current path that does not necessarily mean he does not want to be able to switch quick view plugins.

Re: Lister Plugins Option also in Quick View
And if a user doesn't enable the Tabstop Header, he will not be able to sort Custom columns - choices may come with a price.
Don't misunderstand me, I would not mind another solution, but keyboard shortcuts and click and right-click in the quick-view area can be captured by the plugin.
Maybe middle-click (wheel-click) could be a way to go - personally I don't think I have any plugins that captures middle-click. But TC doesn't have tradition for using middle-click - the only I can think of is closing folder tabs with middle-click.
And then some might complain that they don't have a mouse with a wheel or a middle button.

Re: Lister Plugins Option also in Quick View
petermad,
If a user disables the current path view (because he does not use breadcrumbs and he sees the current path in the command line) it is in no way related to his wishes for quick view. To me it's like suggesting "well, if you disable the button bar you won't be able to switch drives and can only work on C:". Unrelated choices should not come with a price.
Roman
Maybe we misunderstand each other. If the user does not enable the tabstop header, which is used to display and sort by the column headers, he is aware of it because that is its main function. And if a user doesn't enable the Tabstop Header, he will not be able to sort Custom columns - choices may come with a price.

Re: Lister Plugins Option also in Quick View
The Current Path and Quick Wiew are already related - it shows the name of the used plugin.

Re: Lister Plugins Option also in Quick View
petermad,
Perhaps we could make an option to show the "current directory" when quick view is active.
Roman
Which also is not documented in the help for this option, only in the help for Quick view itself. How can a user know that it is necessary to activate "Show current directory" to be able to see the plugin used in quick view? The Current Path and Quick Wiew are already related - it shows the name of the used plugin.
