By the way, there seems to be a bug in Dark mode when listing the hotkeys. White space is missing before and after the hotkeys. Screenshot: here.

That's just an owner-drawn menu, the system menu cannot be fully replicated.

I understand that it cannot be fully replicated, but you put extra white space there for a reason.

What's the reason behind the difference? Is it because the owner-drawn menu can't handle tab characters?

The normal mode menu it the one created by Windows. The extra space seems to be for showing icons.
