Using SearchKeepLast in Configuration

Post by *jinsight »

Using SearchKeepLast in Configuration

SearchKeepLast=0 or 1 was added in 10.11.10 Release Total Commander 7.56 beta 1
10.11.10 Added: Find files: Remember last search results when using "Go to file" or "Cancel" (but not when using "Feed to listbox"). Turn off with SearchKeepLast=0 in wincmd.ini

I see no reference to "SearchKeepLast" after that in history or a forum.

How does this work? Where does it show results? Does it instead show the last Search For? Does another Configuration item negate it?

Thanks!

It's in the Help too:
Help wrote:SearchKeepLast=1 Keep last search results when closing "Find files" dialog, except after "Feed in Listbox"
It shows the search results again when you open search again.

I now understand that this feature works only with cm_SearchFor not with cm_SearchStandalone.
