I tried both 3.33d and 3.40B2 and none of them allowed me to send file to Box.
I'm not sure it's just me or new limitation for these versions.
Edit: I confirm that with Solid Explorer I can send file to Box. Look like there's limitation with Total Commander in this version.

No problems with dropbox here - there is a new version 1.10 of TotalDrip from April 18th 2022 - is that the one you are using?

Sorry, there is currently no "Box" plugin for Total Commander for Android. Only the Windows cloud plugin supports Box.
You can try installing the Box app and then use "Send to". Some apps will only accept "content:" URLs and some only "file:" URLs. There is a checkbox, so you should try both.
