Opening MS Word doc with CTRL down

Re: Opening MS Word doc with CTRL down
Yes and no. It depends on how you want to open your Office document:
- If you press/hold CTRL key and open your Office document by double-clicking with the left mouse button, you will be asked if you want to start the corresponding Office application in safe mode (as described in the page you linked). So: same handling as in Windows explorer
- If you press/hold CTRL key and want to open your Office document by pressing the ENTER key, this will not work. This is because CTRL+ENTER by default appends the currently selected file in the source directory to the end of the command line (see TC Help). So you may have to delete/re-define this key assignment.

Thanks a lot for your crystal clear feedback!
My clicking results on TC 10.00 x64 seems to be a tad shaky.
Approximately 1 success out of 5 attempts; yet I am happy I do not need to launch Windows Explorer.
