It was reported before, but accidentally got moved to Fixed bugs by Hacker.

BLAKEX32.DLL 32-bit DLL to support the fast BLAKE3 hash algorithm

These descriptions are now present in b2. 32bit, 64bit and combined, all tested OK.

You forgot to add BLAKE3 to Help - Create Checksum File(s) (CRC32, MD5, SHA1)...

You added it to the German help in b2, but not to the English help.

Info is added to the Help text in TC10.50rc1. However, the menu text, title of help text and Help index entry are outdated and should be updated too.

I don't think I need to list all algorithms there. I don't list the sha2 and sha3 algorithms either.

True, but it doesn't have to be false either. Perhaps nowadays you can leave out the list or mention a few. For example:

Create Checksum File(s) (CRC32, MD5, etc.)...

In TC7.51 private beta 3 you changed the menu options, you removed "CRC" before checksum and added the list. And in that same version you changed the Help page titles in the same way. You neglected to change it in other places too and haven't updated it at all. For example the Help index entry "Create CRC checksums (SFV format)..." wasn't changed and hasn't been changed since.

As I said the title of the Help pages was changed, however the title of the corresponding dialogs didn't. I always found this strange. For example the window title of the dialog to create checksums still reads "Create CRC checksums (SFV format)..." (but if you press F1..) and below it it says "Save CRC file(s) to".

TOTALCMD.INC still says:

cm_CRCcreate=564;Create CRC checksums
cm_CRCcheck=565;Verify CRC checksums

The progress bar when creating checksums says "CRC" and nothing else. Same for when verifying checksums and aborting the verifying.

This message is also wrong:

1460="Please select only SFV, MD5 or SHA files!"

Why does it say you cannot select .blake3 files?

String 1461 should say checksum, like the footer:

1461="Wrong CRC:"
...
1464="OK: %i, not found: %i, read error: %i, wrong checksum: %i"

String 1461 is also wrong:

If you want to be precise, you can see the list of hash functions, including cyclic redundancy checks, checksum functions, and cryptographic hash functions in Wikipedia.
It means that in most cases there should be "hashes" name used rather than "checksums", as Wikipedia explains:

The values returned by a hash function are called hash values, hash codes, digests, or simply hashes.

Nearly. It remains to fix the difference:

Currently Total Commander can verify checksums in CRC32, MD5, SHA1, SHA2, SHA3 and BLAKE3 formats.
