Favorites panel above Folder Tree on Left

Post by *w_i_k_i_d »

Hello,

I am very used to having a Favorites panel on the left. I click on each 'favorites' folder and it saves me the trouble of going down the Folder Tree and finding folders.

I understand Total Commander 9.50 has a Hotlist that pops up by pressing Ctrl + D and added folders to it. I totally KNOW how to use it.

Is there a way to get back the Favorites drop down tab on top left of the Folder Tree like Windows Explorer does ? Thank you.

Please view the images and they can show what I am trying to say.

In Windows 10 you can make a button with the command:

Code: Select all

cd ::{679F85CB-0220-4080-B29B-5540CC05AAB6}
this will open the Virtual folder Easy Access in TC's file panel.

Easy Access in Windows 10 corresponds to Favorites in Windows 7, but unfortunately cd ::{679F85CB-0220-4080-B29B-5540CC05AAB6} does not work under Windows 7 - which it seems (judging from your screenshots) is what you are using.
