There is a trick to deal with alcohol file :
Simply rename the file containing the data (I don't remember if it is mdf or mds one) to *.bin or *.iso
then :
To extract data you can use "iso.wcx"
To mount image into a virtual drive you can use "virtual disk.wfx"
At least it works for me....
