Renaming the current file cannot use the built-in Emoji of windows system
When I use cm_ Renameonly command, rename files, I can't use the system's own quick panel (win+.) Insert Emoji, and TC will get stuck until I close windows Emoji panel. This is normal in other input boxes of TC. Is this a bug?

This is normal, you need to close the emoji panel to access other parts of Total Commander - either with ESC or the X button. Windows seems to do this to avoid a focus change, which would close the in place rename edit box.

In the meantime, I found a way to make the input from the emoji panel work also in Total Commander (only the 64-bit version was affected). But the emoji panel will still block other operations in Total Commander until it is closed.

Tested OK using TC10.51rc1 64bit.HISTORY.TXT wrote: 13.07.22 Fixed: Unicode characters outside of the basic multilingual plane (low/high surrogates) could not be entered. e.g. emoji via Win+"." (64)
I think this is the case for all applications. You can also close the emoji panel by hitting backslash after you entered an emoji. In that case the backslash will be sent to the application as well.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2022-08-09, 07:02 UTC But the emoji panel will still block other operations in Total Commander until it is closed.
