suggestion: command menu quite similar to "command palette"

Post by *goldfix »

Hello,

I do not know if other people made this suggestion, but what do you think to add a "command menu" quite similar to "command palette" used in (eg.) Visual Studio Code? (https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/getstarted/userinterface#_command-palette)

thanks

Isn't that what the command browser (cm_CommandBrowser) is doing?

The example from VisualStudio shows keyboard shortcuts.
These are shown in the Keyboard file Keyboard.txt

TC 11.51 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1391a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.5.2.0, Listary Pro 6.3.2.88

so you basically suggest to use as much as possible all available different external info-sources rather than to upgrade and use only ones - and btw - prebuilt-in at the PROGRAM itself? ;)

for explanations - why it should be treated become more that "simple command palette" see at the mentions above topic:

this was a really good suggestion, maybe for 11.50 it's too late but you'll never know... :)
