feature request: "search for" drop down field in Find Files dialog shall provide custom presets

Post by *TCEcho »

Hi Mr. Ghisler and team,

of course the "search for" dropdown field saves the last 20 entries. But it seems that I often lose my default search for patterns like "*.* | *.dll *.exe *.pdp *.cache". Wouldn't it be a cool and easy to implement feature having the possibility to define and use presets?

Greetings from Hamburg Germany

Maybe you are looking for the Load/Save tab in TC's search where searches can be saved? Clear the "Search in" before saving a search if you want a search to be reused for various locations.

Better yet: Put in a ">" so the field remains unchanged when loading the search.
