Problem editing files larger than 100kB

I can't open to edit text files which are larger than 100kB. I got permission denied error. The files I needed to modify were placed in /data/data folder but the device is rooted and i can modify smaller files. Is it TC at fault or the root at fault?

It's not a size problem, the editor supports a few MBytes. It's a permission problem. Please check the permissions via long click - properties - RWX.
