In Compare Contents window, there is a small box (seems like a listbox) at the bottom, which shows a comparison of the two lines that differ (left and right). This box needs to be a little larger (height-wise) so a horizontal scrollbar can be shown.
It would also be nice if the two lines that appear there, were shown in the default text color and only the parts that differ were shown in whatever color the user has set.

Re: Compare contents window: horizontal scrollbar needed
Clicking on this small bottom window, and then using mouse wheel scrolls this window horizontally.
Did u try that? It's almost like having a horizontal scrollbar.
The scrollbar would be a nice thing to have, however, especially when dealing with really long lines of text.

Re: Compare contents window: horizontal scrollbar needed
Well, as you can probably imagine, i didn't.

Not the best way though. If there are extra long lines there, having a scrollbar would be faster for scrolling.

You don't have to click the window, just hover the mouse and turn the wheel.Clicking on this small bottom window, and then using mouse wheel scrolls this window horizontally.

Re: Compare contents window: horizontal scrollbar needed
Having this simple window content control - scrollbar - and increases by orders of magnitude the understanding of what can be done in this window and allows me to relieve my fingers of fatigue when you need to turn the wheel and turn the wheel and turn the wheel and turn the wheel and turn the wheel and..... and once a hundred turn the wheel to get to the end of the longest line....
Well, stupid behavior? And instead of just supporting the addition of the desired element, we are still trying to tell - how to use what was given ...
Strange behavior? isn't it?
