So quite often, I need 2 separate set of back up:
say I have some photo / video on my CF Card, and I now highlight them, and copy them to my SSD
The software then remove the red color highlighted files after I copied the files
I do NOT want those highlighted (red color) files un-highlighted. As it took me 5+ min. to pick the files I want to backup
Then normally, I would connect a portable hard drive, and make a 2nd backup to the portable hard drive from the CF card
so w/ the current version, I have to re-select those files again, and copy them. If the files remained in red color (highlighted) , then all I need is to click F5.

Or assign your own hotkey to cm_RestoreSelection via menu Configuration - Options - Misc.
