- Enable two Separate Trees (Ctrl+Shift+F8, repeat if necessary)
- In the right separate tree, click Desktop and press the left arrow key <- to completely collapse the folder tree
- Make the left panel active and go to some folder, select a file or folder and press Ctrl+right

Confirmed - also happen opposite in the left panel.
Also - once the top Destop item is fully collapsed, no navigation in the file panel will open it again (both with one or two trees) - this also applies to the file panel tree. Maybe it is a feature?

I prefer to keep it this way, it's a convenient way to temporarily disable the tree without hiding its window.

It isn't disabled (it is still being updated), it is only collapsed.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2022-10-06, 07:36 UTC I prefer to keep it this way, it's a convenient way to temporarily disable the tree without hiding its window.
