I tried to register, but it shows that I'm registering the new version 10.x, I use the 16bit version on a vm at home and I love it !, but I would like to get rid of the "press x button" dialog, if I register the 10.x version does the license work on the 16 bit version?
Thank you!

I guess this very old version will not regonize a new version key.
But wait for Christians answer.

Well, I tried TC 6.56 and it works fine with my current key.

Probably the latest keys work in 16-bit version as well. My latest key file from 2013 works in 16-bit TC 6.58 (just tested it).Update instructions for registered users wrote: If your registration number is 9473 or earlier (see installation disk), and you were using version 2.11 or older, you need a new registration key. If you already used version 3.x or newer, you do not need a new key!

Yes, all keys with licence number 9474 and higher work with all versions of Total Commander, including the 16-bit version. You have unlimited upgrade and downgrade rights. You also need just one license for all your PCs and virtual machines, even if you run Total Commander on multiple at the same time. So no need to purchase an extra license for Windows 3.x if you already have a license for a current Windows.
