[TC (x32) 10.52] Mouse cursor not back to normal after Ctrl+Shift+F8
I forgot to mention this:
* Start 32-bit TC with clean ini
* Press Ctrl+Shift+F8 (show 1 separate tree)
The mouse cursor still has the busy animation. (is gone when you move the mouse)
This happens since TC 10.52rc1 and only when using the keyboard shortcut.

Not confirmed on Windows 11. Maybe it depends on where the cursor is when you press it? I tried with the cursor over a file list before and after Ctrl+Shift+F8, on a file list before and over the tree afterwards, over the button bar, and over the title.

Yes, mouse cursor on empty space at the bottom when you have a small file list. Mouse cursor at the right side of the empty space which remains empty.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2022-10-26, 15:54 UTC Maybe it depends on where the cursor is when you press it?

Not confirmed - it quickly changes to a wait cursor (hourglass) but immediately returns to an arrow.

It seems to happen with other versions too.white wrote: 2022-10-26, 15:35 UTC This happens since TC 10.52rc1 and only when using the keyboard shortcut.
It seems to happen in the root of a drive. For testing it is best to have left and right panel to be in the root folder of a drive.
It seems to happen when the mouse cursor ends up over an empty space in the file panel after the separate tree is displayed. This can be in file list too. It can also happen when you use menu option 1 separate tree.

Edition: Windows 11 Pro
Version: 22H2
Build: 22621.755
I could also reproduce it on a virtual machine with Windows 10, version 1809.

I'm on the same version, no way to reproduce it so far. Does anyone else have this problem?

Confirm. Indeed it rather tight related with initial position of cursor.
even on Win10 1809!
For me I have to place it beforehand above of the last "in a future" visible record on file list panel.

For me it only happens in the root folder (and 32-bit TC). Can you confirm that AntonyD?
For positioning you can do this:
For positioning you can do this:
- execute on TC's command line: cm_SeparateTreeOff,cm_ToggleSeparateTree1
- position the mouse cursor, for example on the icon of a folder in the file panel
- repeat step 1 using keyboard only (Ctrl+Down, Enter) (try several times if it doesn't happen)

Under Windows 10 22H2 I see the busy animation for a second while the tree is rendered, then it goes away by itself when the tree is fully shown - I only see it on 32bit TC.

Re: [TC (x32) 10.52] Mouse cursor not back to normal after Ctrl+Shift+F8
This issue has disappeared in TC 11.50b1 32-bit. Probably as a side effect of other changes.
The hourglass is still displayed for about 1 second (unlike the 64-bit version), but then it disappears (unlike previous versions). So it's not really an issue anymore.
