Also Notepad2e.

Roman
Thanks for the tip - I didn't know this version yet.
I am now slightly confused by the different versions of Notepad, because I thought Notepad3 was the latest version.

But I won't look into the difference between Notepad2e and Notepad3 any more,
because I always use the latest EmEditor Professional (64-bit) [beta] version anyway.

Well, you have kind of solved your problem by working around it. It's still unclear whether or not C:\SysWOW64\notepad.exe works on your system. If it doesn't you're likely to run into this issue again eventually (other programs might use Notepad, too).

tuska,
I am now slightly confused by the different versions of Notepad, because I thought Notepad3 was the latest version.
All of them are forks, i.e. different versions maintained by different authors.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
