Hi,
I use the quicksearch in the mode "ALT+Letters" with no "exact name match".
In very big directories (biggest one has about 9000 files) with very small files.
After the search process, if the list shrinked to my results,
I use <ESC> to see all my files again (I hope this is correct), to do the next search.
Sometimes, after that, the list is no more complete. The bottom line shows a fewer count of files
and some of them maybe 100, maybe 2000 (from the end of the list upwards) are missing.
I have to leave the directory and enter it again to see all files again...
I hope the description is accurate enough,
best regards,
frosch

After pressing <ESC> the filter will still remain active.
You can see the tiny filter icon in the right bottom corner of the panel.
Pressing <F2> or <Ctrl-R> will finally remove the filter and refresh the list.

Or just press Esc a second time, if the filter icon is still visble.Pressing <F2> or <Ctrl-R> will finally remove the filter and refresh the list.

That's what I have usually done...petermad wrote: 2022-12-20, 23:56 UTC Or just press Esc a second time, if the filter icon is still visble.
(of course I pressed ESC twice, sorry for being inaccurate..)
I will check with <F2> or <Ctrl-R>...
