Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Re: New beautiful interface for multi rename
Yes! Flat style like windows10 is actual and more ergonomic demonstrative.
And move into buttom panel buttons: ?, Names-edit, Templates-combobox

32-bit TC still works in Windows 95. I'm afraid you cannot use different colors for different parts of background in the same window. It's possible for different tabs, I guess.
And if you want move 3 elements to bottom, then the minimal window width should be larger. Otherwise there may be a problem with the hint "Please press 'Start!' to start renaming" in the bottom left corner. Resize the window to minimal size and you will see what I mean - there is no place to put more elements in the bottom.

Win 95 default colors is 256 - out of 256 colors, you can choose 3 colors for coloring panels in any windows like this way: https://ibb.co/k5zgFZ732-bit TC still works in Windows 95. It can probably be done if some other control is put behind all of the existing controls (edit boxes, labels, buttons and so on), something like a panel or similar that can be colored differently.Usher wrote: 2023-02-18, 22:01 UTC32-bit TC still works in Windows 95. That being said, I don't really see an advantage to the existing design and layout. I also think it's a bad idea to move the rename templates combobox to the bottom. IMO often used controls have to be placed in the same area.
Usher was talking about minimal window width, i.e. make the window as narrow as possible.

TGroupBox more beutiful? Realy??))))That being said, I don't really see an advantage to the existing design and layout.

Now it is agly terrible pile of elements in up-right corner!I also think it's a bad idea to move the rename templates combobox to the bottom. IMO often used controls have to be placed in the same area.

So i can offer a more coordinated proposal on the interface, but the grandfathers will howl even louder in support of their old beliefs.

1) use the window header to position the elements.
2) Remove the CLOSE button in the lower right corner because it is already in the upper right - why is this non-ergonomic duplication?
3) Remove the HELP button because it is F1 hotkey as default forever
As ideal visualisation of my userful dream: https://ibb.co/qW3ndg3

Re: New beautiful interface for multi rename
I like the existing interface. In fact, I'm still disappointed that the main window ditched the groove lines separating the various parts. The single-pixel, single-color lines are ugly and boring to me.
Whenever anyone says that you can't do something on a computer, what they really mean is that the OS doesn't have any built-in function for doing that thing. Computers can do virtually anything you want them to, if the programmer is willing to devote the time and effort into programming that function themselves.Usher wrote: 2023-02-18, 22:01 UTC 32-bit TC still works in Windows 95.
