Append in move operation
Copy/move overwrite prompt dialog differs if we try to overwrite from the same partition and if partition is different. In the second case the dialog shows additional button "Append". Is there any reason why it is not present in the first dialog? And if not then my suggestion is to implement it.

Hmm, I see the option "Append" both when copying within the same partition and between partitions.
When moving files I don't see if within the same partition, and that is because moving within a partition is done by changing the path to the file, not by physically moving it.

Re: Append in move operation
I understand. However nothing stands in a way to have "append" button working like normal append+delete.petermad wrote: 2022-11-03, 01:08 UTC When moving files I don't see if within the same partition, and that is because moving within a partition is done by changing the path to the file, not by physically moving it.
