Hooray for Total Commander 11.00 !!!

Post by *chandragor »

  • Show searchable list of all open tabs with Ctrl+Shift+A (as in the Chrome browser) or right clicking on the rightmost edge of the tab headers
At last !!! I usually have 20-30 open tabs, and this is a long awaited feature.

TC becomes better and better with any new release. :D

Thanks indeed, Mr. Ghisler.

Show searchable list of all open tabs with Ctrl+Shift+A
Please test this extensively and let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement!

Btw, you can use quick search and even a quick filter (Ctrl+S) to quickly find the right tab.
When you type an asterisk * at the start of the quick filter, TC will show the directories of the tabs instead of the tab titles.

Excellent, the list of directories associated to each tab is even more useful.

There should be a hotkey for this too, instead of the sequence "Ctrl-Shift-A then asterisk",
but even as it is now it's wonderful.

Re: [TC 11.00b1] Cursor position wrong when renaming file

Hello everyone,

Since there is no "Thank You!" forum I'm posting here just to say thank you very much to Christian Ghisler and the team for implementing the stop on Ctrl+Left/Right at extra non-alphanumeric characters functionality. This is something I have been missing in Windows from the very early days.
Side note: I have been using Total Commander well over 2 decades now! Best investment I ever made!

Best regards,

Wouter
