Solved - No bug  Visual bug on Compare contents window

Post by *Galizza »

Hi, there is a visual bug on Compare contents window.

I preffer to use monospaced font Lucida Console, because for me it is much
easier to find differences when using monospaced fonts.

But when using Lucida Console, there is no space between current line
number and the first letter of the text, and it's shown like this :

160:ShowCentury=0

But if i change font from Lucida Console to a non monospaced font like
Verdana, then there is a space between current line number and the
first letter of the text, and it's shown like this :

160: ShowCentury=0

I have tested other monospaced fonts with same results.

It's a small difference, but it makes much easier to read the first word
of each line, thank you very much :!:

I tried with different fonts, and I don't think there is a space added for some of them - it is simply the colon sign that has more or less space to the right of the colon for different fonts, and in some fonts like Microsoft Sans Serif it looks like a whole space.

Compare the fonts Courier New and Courier - with Courier New there is a little space to the right of the colon, but with Courier the colon is right in the middle between the line number and the text.

You're right is not a bug, maybe it could be a good idea to implement an option to add an additional space in Compare contents font settings. Best regards.
