TC 11.00 b5:
- As far as I understand, now selecting ZIP in the dialog executes a command from the key instead of the internal one.
- How correct is it to keep the priority of B over T= in the naming of the archive?
The parameters field is now enabled.
- -
The description for O appeared, only with a German typo:
O0..4,7,8: Overwrite options, numbers as in the F5 copy dialog box. 5,6 und 9 are not supported.- The message still appears for /M:
---------------------------
zip
---------------------------
Not enough memory!

I can confirm the German typo, thanks.
Unfortunately I haven't had the time yet to add 7zg.exe support, so you will still get strange errors when you use it.

1 and 2 don't wrek because you are using 7zg.exe, and it doesn't like the parameters. Wait for the next beta.

It's good that there will be support for 7zG, but this doesn't address these issues.
1. In the previous beta with the option "Use internal ZIP packer" disabled, the choice of ◉ ZIP in the dialog led to the packaging by an internal tool, and in 5 by an external one. Was this done on purpose?
2. /GBT="Name.zip" will pack not in Name.zip, but in <filename>.zip, regardless of whether the internal packaging is enabled or disabled. I ask why /T= is ignored?

Re: [TC 11.00b4] Problems with cm_PackFiles
1. I cannot reproduce that. I have now added 7zg support, and disabled internal ZIP, and it called the external packer every time.
2. The switch B (Leave out base directory when packing folders) can only be used in combination with A (Create separate archives, one per selected file/dir). Therefore it has to use the names of the selected files/folders as a base for the archive name.

Try packing now with 7zg.exe with option "7z" checked for ZIP packer.

It's too early to move the topic. The preparation of the information took longer than I would have liked. There was a breakdown with the publication, so I postponed.

Did you try checking "7z" in Configuration - Options - ZIP packer when using 7zg.exe?
