[TC 11.00b8 64-bit dark mode] MRT - "F2 Load/save settings" moves to the left
In 64-bit dark mode, open Multi-Rename tool using the mouse. Then press and release Alt. The text "F2 Load/save settings" moves to the left.
(only happens in 64-bit dark mode)

Maybe a video? As for me - no way to replicate this case...

It also happens when you move the mouse over the text.white wrote: 2023-06-22, 11:52 UTC In 64-bit dark mode, open Multi-Rename tool using the mouse. Then press and release Alt. The text "F2 Load/save settings" moves to the left.
Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
Make sure there are no saved settings for the Multi-Rename Tool.
Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
yep, and Sorry but still not the same described "bad" result here...(((Make sure there are no saved settings for the Multi-Rename Tool.

Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
Well the "bad" result is that it moves a few pixels to the left

Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
imho ONLY the video can easily describes what the case we have here.it moves a few pixels
I can't see anything which I could described as a "movement"...

This animated gif shows the movement when using the mouse.

I cannot reproduce this - tested wit TC 11.00b8 32bit and 64bit under WIndows 7 and 10.

Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
Sorry, it seems to depend on window size. Try making the the window a bit wider.
Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
Ok, now I can see it - but as petermad said - can't reproduce it either.

maybe some digits of such sizes you can provide?Try making the the window a bit wider.
so we could make the similar changes of the dimensions...

You know - something already initially does not match with your picture on my comp.
Look - I've highlighted with two multi-colored lines - the sequence of the left-most borders of bounding boxes of the block 'Define Counter' and the combobox object 'operations with settings'.
For me, they go in the visual order of objects from top to bottom. The first block is wider than the second object, which is narrower and lower. Therefore, from left to right, we read colors: a green stripe, then a purple stripe. It's in my picture.
And you will have everything exactly the opposite, if you impose the same color lines. You will first have a purple stripe from the second object (from the combobox) - because it is WIDER, and then only a green one - from the first block, because it's NARROWER.
P.S.
btw - did you manage to reproduce it on Windows 11?

Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
It seems this wasn't true. Only when opening MRT the first time, it doesn't happen.white wrote: 2023-06-23, 09:26 UTC Sorry, it seems to depend on window size. Try making the the window a bit wider.
These are the steps I use:
* Start 64-bit TC with new ini
* Enable dark mode
* Open MRT - problem doesn't happen
* Close MRT
* If, at any time I use the MRT again, the problem does happen
I use Windows 11. Tested on Windows 10 as well.
That's what 32-bit looks like, not 64-bit.AntonyD wrote: 2023-06-23, 09:41 UTC https://ibb.co/q0dNyGz

Re: [Old] [minor] Pack dialog: 'Compression rate' always shows underlined symbol
I can reproduce it - but only when there are no saved settings for the Multi-Rename Tool as earlier pointed out by white
It seems to happen when RenameX= is set in wincmd.ini for the current resolution, and there are no entries in the [Rename] section
I does not happen if RenameX= is not set - that is why it does not happen the first time you try with a clean ini.
