Hey guys,
Thanks for the great file manager.
I see there are some nice additions to the pack / archive files dialog, so I hope this "easy" option would be possible to fit in.
IDEA: have an option in the dialog to switch the destination of the compressed file to local (source panel) folder.
IMO the easiest would be to just replace the path part of the location field with a dot
EXAMPLE:
(by default on compress we get): zip:[full folder path from destination panel]\[filename].zip
(after selecting option say "Local", have): zip:.\[filename].zip
2Fla$her:
Should this be manageable through TCFS2?
Thanks

Re: pack dialog: local folder option
Using Ctrl+Alt+F5 does that already (packing to source instead of target panel)igarny wrote: 2023-06-26, 12:17 UTC IDEA: have an option in the dialog to switch the destination of the compressed file to local (source panel) folder.

Edith:
at least when you have
Code: Select all
[Shortcuts]
CA+F5=cm_PackFiles
CAS+F5=cm_PackFiles

Re: pack dialog: local folder option
Thanks 2Sir_SiLvA..
It looks strange you know. One and same command behaves differently.
I am not sure this is documented... can't find it in the help file.
I have similar statements in the TC Menu, but when selected from there, they all do the same...standard pack file dialog
Anyway, thanks! This is of great help

mayhaps Chris can add them as default to tc and keyboard.txt for V11.00 like petermad asked in https://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=431469#p431469 ....
