The descript.ion file is not updated when files are renamed as in previous versions.

- Which OS?
- How did you rename the file? one or multiple?

Make sure to check the following option:
Menu Configuration - Options - Operation - File comments:
[x] Copy comments with files

the name of that setting is very "strange" if this needs to be enabled for renaming

The setting is for every aspect of managing comments, be it copy, rename, delete, synchronize files etc. Maybe "Automatically manage comments with files" would be more appropriate. I rarely use descript.ion files and/or comments, so I can't really add much in that regard.
