I will test all upcoming versions.
I will switch to a newer version than 1.3 when the keys are working,
and I can use my normal settings under the actual version of SumatraPDF.

The only action a user has to do after the plugin installation is
to set the path to the SumatraPDF.exe into the sumatrapdf.ini.

Since many years, I always use the latest betas of SumatraPDF without problems.
Production releases are only coming after long beta times.
That's the same situation as with Everything, using the alpha version 1.5.x has only benefits
compared to version 1.4.x, the new production version takes ages.

I tested different versions of SumatraPDF with SumatraPDF-settings.txt matching the version and with the wrong version. Works everywhere. Let's first clarify what should work.
1. When viewing a single file, 'N' and 'P' should scroll through the contents of the file, as in SumatraPDF.
2. When viewing multiple selected files, 'N' and 'P' should scroll through the files
as in TC Lister.
Is that how you check?
I didn't check your version. I checked 3.1, 3.2, 3.4. If now you answer that it does not work for you, I will try to check your version. I think this does not depend on the SumatraPDF-settings.txt settings.

What works for me is already working for you. So I think it will be necessary to test one more time when I get '4' and that's it. The main thing I have already understood the reason and it is unlikely that it is in SumatraPDF-settings.txt.
Between version IV 1.72 and 1.8, two years passed before I figured out how to do it

As AkulaBig said, in newer versions there is no scrolling through a file with N and P keys.
For me, that's not a problem, I always page through files using the Page Up/Down keys in all programs.
