Probably you should put a photo and text component of explanations in this topic already, what is the essence of this bug.
When the time comes to read and maintain it, it will be difficult and unpromising to switch to a topic closed as fixed.
And something to look for/read there.

@AntonyD I suppose this thread is not more or less persistent than the other one. Thus, I don't want to create unnecessary redundancy and trust that the information in the other thread is sufficient.

Apart, I agree to @ghisler that the open issues are not really bugs but more like "requests for improvements". Maybe @ghisler can move the original thread to the suggestions forum. Thank you.

No, the thread was about a different report, which has been fixed. I have also explained why there are two ".." to shorten the path in the title.
