TC11.00rc2 x32 and "some" previous betas
I don't remember when it startet but it was certainly during the beta phase of TC11:
Sometimes, directories show the total commander icon:

The icon changes back to "normal" if the file list is refreshed or if I scroll the dir out of and back into view.
Unfortunately I cannot reliably reproduce the problem.
Has anyone else the same problem?

Re: Wrong directory icon shown
I have seen this even for application icons assigned to certain extensions.
So yes. This also happens.

Re: Wrong directory icon shown
I was finally able to reproduce it with the Total Commander installer, because due to Windows Defender it takes an awful lot of time to load its icon: It happens when you are in a directory with one or more slowly loading icons and then switch to a different directory while icons are still being loaded. This also happens in TC 10.52. I will fix it.

Thank you!

TC11.00rc3 x32
A quick test with "aggressively" switching/entering/leaving directories containing (exe) files with integrated icons lets me assume that the bug is gone.
Since I cannot reproduce it reliably I will keep an eye on it and let you know if it happens again.
Code: Select all
21.07.23 Fixed: In some cases when changing directories while file icons were still being loaded (e.g. for exe files), the last loaded icon was shown on an entry in the new directory (32/64)
Since I cannot reproduce it reliably I will keep an eye on it and let you know if it happens again.
