Slow smooth mouse scrolling

Post by *sirrobert »

Hey guys,

when I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to scroll the panels it is way too slow! Compare it to Servant Slamander. Also when I start dragging the vertical scrollbar - it begins to scroll slow and after while it is fast. Don't get it!

Would it be also possible to implement a check box for displaying the directories in or without brackets like in Salamander, i.e.

ICON [blabla] vs ICON blabla

Salamander can't sort directories 'always by name' so that's way I am using TC. :)

Thanx.

This is a Windows feature. You can turn it system wide off here: Control Panel / System / Advanced / Performance Settings / Visual Effects / Smooth-scroll list boxes
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Believe me, there are a lot more reasons ;-)

Fine. But if Slamander can do it... there could be a checkbox anyway. :?

This means, Salamander is using a nonstandard list. No problems with that, just a reason why it is not possible in TC.

Salamander gets stronger all the time. The TC competition is definitely not standing still.

Here's hoping that the next version of TC keeps its lead!
