[TC11] Changing drive in drive combo box doesn't work with Return

Hey guys,

odd problem I have with TC11 on Windows 10 21H2:

when using the drive combo box I can no longer change drives with pressing Return.
Instead the button press seems to be handled by the active panel: pressing Return on a selected drive (in the combo box) opens a selected folder, trying to change drive again goes back to the parent directory.

Opening the selected drive in a new Tab with Shift+Return works, so does clicking on the selected drive.

Any idea?

Does it also happen with a new wincmd.ini file?
Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit TC?

I am using TC 64bit and interestingly the problem does not occur with a fresh wincmd.ini.
BTW: this is an update installation coming from 10.52

No.
I just tried, with the same INI file the problem does not occur in TC 10.52

Have you checked if Enter is listed under Configuration/Options/Misc/Hotkey ?

Does the same thing happen when you use keyboard only? (Alt+F1, use arrow keys to select drive and press Enter)

Does the same thing happen when using 32-bit TC?

Oh, you were right, Enter is in fact linked to cm_Return.
The problem does occur both when opening the drive combobox via mouse and via Alt+F1/F2
Same problem with TC11 32bit (and my wincmd.ini)

This solved my problem. Thank you, green, I mean white
Now I need to figure out why I had Enter linked to cm_Return - I believe it had something to do with the built-in command line..

I'm wondering though, why this worked in 10.52 and does not work in 11 any more...

I can confirm that [Shortcuts]ENTER=cm_Return is treated differently in the Drive combobox in TC 11.00 and TC 10.52. The behavior changed with TC 11.00b8.

Confirmed. So probable cause:

19.06.23 Fixed: Some redefined hotkeys like Ctrl+L were ignored when the cursor wasn't in one of the file lists. Instead, the original command of that hotkey was executed (32/64)
