If you need to use 32-bit Total Commander for some old plugins without 64-bit support, you can install the combined 32+64-bit version of Total Commander and then call just the 64-bit version of compare by content, e.g. via a button:
Command: %commander_exe%
Wouldn't %commander_exe% just open a new 32bit Compare session of TC?

Shouldn't it rather be: %COMMANDER_PATH%\totalcmd64.exe (for a combined TC installation)

Thanks! I don't really need the 32 bit version and have started to pin the 64 bit version to my taskbar now. And, yes, all is well now ;-)

(It was just the old conservative approach from being told once too often that there is really nothing the 64 bit version can do better ... and that is true as long as you stick with those apps and files about which a certain Mr. Gates once said that 640KB should really be enough for anything ...)
