[TC 11.0, 11.01rc2] F3 on RTF -> RMB -> no action there

Post by *MaxX »

Just noticed that TC 11 can't copy text from RTF by right mouse. There's no menu for that.
TC 10.52 works fine.

Confirmed that right-click works in TC 10.52 and not in TC 11.01rc2

Ctrl+C still works though

Confirmed.
You can still use Shift+F10 or the context menu key, though.

Confirm fixed in rc3.

However, in the 64-bit version the hotkey is very far away from the text, see the screenshot:

I guess this is because the menu is initialized with extra commands (copy as hex, search in Google), but for RTF they are hidden or removed, but the width remains the same. In the 32-bit version it looks normal, the Ctrl+C is closer to the menu item text.

By the way, after writing this I've realized: why is "Search in Google" not shown in RTF? I understand that "copy as hex" menu item is not applicable there, but I don't see any reason not to include the Google searching command. Or any user-defined context menu items, for that matter.

Thanks for confirming the fix! It seems that the menu is that wide because Lazarus takes also the hidden menu items into account, especially the "search with Google" menu item. Maybe it works when I allow that. I will add it to my wish list.
