Hi,
I bought Total Commander in 2012.
About a few years ago, when I start total commander, the license is not working anymore, Total Commander prompts registration dialog upon launch. I've been using it by clicking the requested number since then.
I've never shared my license key to other.
Can I ask what is the reason the my key became invalid?

Very old registration keys (registration number 9473 or earlier, Windows Commander 2.11 or older) need to be replaced, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. You can use the email address listed there to get things sorted out, or you can wait until Mr. Ghisler replies in this thread.

Are you sure your wincmd.key is in the Total Commander folder? Do you get any error message about your licence key upon launching TC?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

If your key doesn't work, then please contact me by e-mail to support at ghisler dot com and provide:
1. Your full name
2. Your address at the time of purchase, so I can find you in our user database
3. Your current address (if changed)

Thanks for all above replies. I sent mail to Ghisler and it turned out the key file is OK.
I downloaded the latest 11.01 x64 version installer and performed the installation process, then I copied the key file to the installation folder, the license is now working as before.
Not sure why it was not accepted in my previous TC instance, which is 9.5.1.0. Initially I may be using version 6 or 7, then when do the upgrade, I just extract newer version files and overwrite it.
Maybe for that 9.51 version, I downloaded a customized TC from the internet, and the files could be modified and so it cannot correctly recognize my key file.
